The sale is closed. What about the documents?

  1. Save the selected files in your archive
  2. Close the Photos share that is still active

The sale is closed. Before moving to the next file, two things still need attention: save the selected documents in the brokerage’s archive and close external shares that are no longer needed.

Meo groups documents by client. You can download a selection of files, then find active links on the Shares page.

Save the selected files in your archive

In the fictional IM-27 file, the broker’s assistant selects the final files to keep in the brokerage’s archive.

She opens the Meo client folder, selects those files and downloads them, as one ZIP if useful. She then saves them in the brokerage’s archive and checks that the expected documents open there.

Close the Photos share that is still active

The Photos subfolder was shared with an outside contributor to finish work on the images. That work is complete. The assistant finds the link on the Shares page and checks its status and expiry date.

In this example, the share is still active. She revokes it to close access through that link. The photos remain in the Meo folder; revoking the share does not remove the files.

She can then record this short closure note:

IM-27
Brokerage archive: final files saved and checked that they open.
Photos share: revoked.
Photos: kept in Meo.
