Two people reply separately for the same file. One document arrives, but what is still missing, and who should send it? With Meo, the assistant sees the items expected from each participant in one request. She can follow up with the right person without asking someone who is done to start again.
Each participant receives a personal link and uses a code to access their part, with no account to create. The practice chooses which documents to request and who should provide them.
One file, two people, different progress
In the fictional N-18 file, the practice has asked Émilie for her municipal tax statement and Marc for a copy of his ID. Amélie, the assistant, opens Émilie’s uploaded document and checks that both pages are present.
| Expected document | Follow-up status |
|---|---|
| Émilie: municipal tax statement | Received; both pages checked by Amélie |
| Marc: copy of his ID | Not received |
Tell Marc exactly what he still needs to send
For this follow-up, Amélie can use this short message with Marc’s personal link to his existing request:
Hello Marc, we are still missing the copy of your ID requested for file N-18. Please upload it to your Meo request using your personal link. Documents already received do not need to be sent again.
Set reminders to follow up on all required items. Meo reminds Marc about his missing document according to your chosen schedule and reminder limit. Émilie’s reminders stop because she has completed her part.
Before the notary’s review, Amélie passes along the received documents and identifies the one still missing.
